Question 1

What does Norma actually do?

Accepted Answer

Norma blocks the apps you select and their notifications. When you scan the Unit Disc with your iPhone, the apps you chose become inaccessible and their notifications stop — scan again to restore access.

Question 2

Does it work on Android?

Accepted Answer

No. Norma currently works with iPhone only.

Question 3

Does it require a subscription or battery?

Accepted Answer

No — no subscription and no battery. Nothing to charge, no recurring fee, and no hidden cost.

Question 4

How does it connect to my phone?

Accepted Answer

Norma uses NFC. To activate it, place the top of your iPhone — near the camera area — against the disc. Heavy or thick cases can sometimes interfere with the signal and make the connection a little weaker; that's normal.

Question 5

Will it slow down my phone or drain the battery?

Accepted Answer

No. Norma works through your iPhone's built-in Screen Time, and nothing runs in the background — so there's no performance hit and no extra battery drain.

Question 6

Can I customize which apps are blocked?

Accepted Answer

During setup, you choose which apps Norma will control. You can change it at any time by switching between different Focus modes directly from the app's home screen.

Question 7

Can I block websites, not just apps?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can block distracting websites alongside apps, all grouped into your presets.

Question 8

What happens if I lose the disc?

Accepted Answer

Norma includes a limited number of emergency unblocks you can use if you don't have your disc on hand.

Question 9

When will my order arrive?

Accepted Answer

We ship within 24–48 hours. From there, delivery usually takes 3–6 business days to reach you, depending on where you are in the world.

Question 10

Will I pay customs or import fees?

Accepted Answer

France and the EU: no customs fees. Outside the EU — including the US and the UK — your country may charge import duties and taxes when the parcel arrives. They're set and collected by your customs authority and the carrier, not by us: they aren't included in our prices and we unfortunately can't cover or refund them. If a delivery is refused, duties and return costs may be deducted from the refund.

Question 11

Can I return my Norma?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can return it for a full refund of the price you paid. Return shipping, however, is covered by you (the buyer).

Question 12

Is checkout secure?

Accepted Answer

Completely. Checkout runs on Shopify — one of the most trusted commerce platforms in the world. Your payment is encrypted end-to-end, your card details are never seen or stored by us, and you can pay securely by card or Apple Pay. Your information stays yours.
