Who each one suits.
You are on Android.
Bloom, Unpluq and Opal work on Android, like Brick. Unpluq needs a subscription for its tag to work. Norma and Foqos are iPhone only.
You want to spend as little as possible.
Screen Time is free and already on your iPhone. Foqos is free and works with any NTAG213 NFC tag you buy yourself, or with a printed QR code.
You want the block to reach your Mac.
Norma blocks the sites and apps you chose on your Mac, on the same scan. Foqos has a free Mac app for websites. Opal has a Mac app on its subscription. Brick and Bloom have none today.
You want an object made of metal.
The Bloom card and the Norma disc are both stainless steel. Bloom is cheaper and thinner; Norma is heavier and made to sit out in view.
What Norma and Brick do the same way.
- A physical object you tap, not one more app.
- You pick the apps to block once, then you tap.
- No battery, no charging.
- A one-time purchase, no subscription.
- Without the object, the apps stay blocked.

Jak to funguje.
Aplikace vyberete jednou. Naskenováním je zablokujete, dalším naskenováním je vrátíte.
Vytvořte předvolbu
Vyberte aplikace k zablokování, jednou.
Naskenujte svou Normu
Přiložte iPhone k disku.
Zmizí
Pryč, dokud znovu nenaskenujete.
Nebo začněte naskenování zSiriAction ButtonWidget
Stejné naskenování zablokuje i váš Mac.
Vytvořte předvolby s vlastním názvem, ikonou a aplikacemi.
- Tvrdý zámek: Bez úniku až do konce. Zamkněte relaci na pevnou dobu. Než uplyne, nic neodemknete, ani skenem.
- Večerní režim: Soustředění, které začne samo. Zvolte večerní čas a relace se spustí bez vás. Ráno jsou aplikace stále blokované, dokud neskenujete.
- Weby: Blokujte web i na Macu. Weby vyberte na iPhonu a stejná relace je zablokuje i na Macu.
- Statistiky: Uvidíte získaný čas. Celkový čas soustředění: dnes, tento týden i měsíc. Aktuální a nejlepší série, nejdelší relace a nejklidnější hodiny.
- Žebříček: Soutěžte, pokud chcete. Ve výchozím stavu vypnuto. Zapněte a porovnejte svůj čas soustředění.
- Úspěchy: Série a milníky. Odznaky se odemykají, jak přibývá času soustředění.
- Již brzy: Soustředění, které ví, kde jste. Označte místo na mapě a relace začne po příchodu. Zastavíte ji skenem na místě nebo odchodem ze zóny.
What Norma doesn’t do.
On these three points, others do better.
No Android.
Norma works on iPhone and Mac. If your phone runs Android, Brick is the right choice. We’d rather tell you here than after you order.
Norma costs more.
We are not the cheapest option, and we don’t try to be. There is no permanent sale and no countdown: one price, paid once.
No free version.
You need the disc to use Norma. Screen Time and Foqos cost nothing to try, and they are a good way to find out whether a block is enough for you.
“best product i bought in 2026”
“Great product. Love the UI on the app and how simple it is. The product itself looks elegant on my nightstand. Highly recommend!”
“Love the product, feels so well crafted and makes me want to keep on using it. It also tackles the focus problem much better than other apps, and it’s great to also see other people do it alongside yourself”

It depends on your phone and what you want to pay. On Android: Bloom, Unpluq (with a subscription) or Opal. For nothing: Screen Time, or Foqos with your own NFC tag. For a block that also applies on your Mac: Norma, Foqos (websites only) or Opal.
Yes. Norma, Bloom and Foqos need no subscription, like Brick. Unpluq requires a subscription for its tag to work. Opal has a limited free tier and a Pro subscription.
No. Brick says it does not support iPads or computers for now. Norma has a free Mac app that blocks the sites and apps you chose on the same scan as your iPhone.
No. Norma works on iPhone, with a companion app on Mac. If you’re on Android, Brick supports both systems.
The principle is identical: an object you tap that cuts the apps you chose. The concrete differences are the Mac (Norma applies the block on the computer), automatic triggering by place or time, and the fact that Norma is iPhone-only where Brick also covers Android.
No. The disc is bought once and the app is included, with no subscription and no in-app purchase.
Screen Time is switched off in seconds in Settings. Norma builds on Screen Time but makes unlocking depend on an object: if the disc is in another room, the apps stay blocked.
Yes. You have 14 days to return your disc under the European right of withdrawal.
