Who each one suits.
You are on Android.
Bloom, Unpluq and Opal work on Android, like Brick. Unpluq needs a subscription for its tag to work. Norma and Foqos are iPhone only.
You want to spend as little as possible.
Screen Time is free and already on your iPhone. Foqos is free and works with any NTAG213 NFC tag you buy yourself, or with a printed QR code.
You want the block to reach your Mac.
Norma blocks the sites and apps you chose on your Mac, on the same scan. Foqos has a free Mac app for websites. Opal has a Mac app on its subscription. Brick and Bloom have none today.
You want an object made of metal.
The Bloom card and the Norma disc are both stainless steel. Bloom is cheaper and thinner; Norma is heavier and made to sit out in view.

Was die App kann.

- Voreinstellungen: Ein Set für jeden Teil des Tages. Erstelle Voreinstellungen mit Namen, Symbol und Apps. Wechsle zwischen Arbeit, Schlaf oder Abendessen und starte in einer Sekunde.
- Gedrückt halten: Starten ohne die Scheibe. Halte die Taste drei Sekunden gedrückt, um eine Sitzung zu starten. Zum Beenden braucht es weiterhin einen Scan.
- Timer: Sitzungen, die von selbst enden. Gib der Sitzung eine Dauer. Ist die Zeit um, endet sie von selbst und deine Apps sind zurück.
- Hardlock: Kein Ausweg bis zum Ende. Sperre eine Sitzung für eine feste Zeit. Bis sie abläuft, lässt sich nichts entsperren, auch nicht per Scan.
- Abendmodus: Fokus, der von selbst beginnt. Wähle eine Uhrzeit am Abend, die Sitzung startet ohne dich. Beim Aufwachen sind deine Apps weiter gesperrt, bis du scannst.
- Webseiten: Blockiere das Web auch am Mac. Wähle die Websites am iPhone, und dieselbe Sitzung blockiert sie auch auf deinem Mac.
- Statistiken: Sieh die zurückgewonnene Zeit. Gesamte Fokuszeit, heute, diese Woche, diesen Monat. Aktuelle und beste Serie, längste Sitzung und deine ruhigsten Stunden.
- Bestenliste: Miss dich mit anderen, wenn du magst. Standardmäßig aus. Schalte sie ein, um deine Fokuszeit zu vergleichen.
- Auszeichnungen: Serien und Meilensteine. Auszeichnungen schalten sich frei, während deine Fokuszeit wächst.
- Demnächst: Fokus, der weiß, wo du bist. Setze einen Ort auf die Karte, die Sitzung startet bei Ankunft. Zum Beenden scannst du vor Ort oder verlässt den Bereich.
What Norma doesn’t do.

No Android.
Norma works on iPhone and Mac. If your phone runs Android, Brick is the right choice. We’d rather tell you here than after you order.
Norma costs more.
We are not the cheapest option, and we don’t try to be. There is no permanent sale and no countdown: one price, paid once.
No free version.
You need the disc to use Norma. Screen Time and Foqos cost nothing to try, and they are a good way to find out whether a block is enough for you.

It depends on your phone and what you want to pay. On Android: Bloom, Unpluq (with a subscription) or Opal. For nothing: Screen Time, or Foqos with your own NFC tag. For a block that also applies on your Mac: Norma, Foqos (websites only) or Opal.
Yes. Norma, Bloom and Foqos need no subscription, like Brick. Unpluq requires a subscription for its tag to work. Opal has a limited free tier and a Pro subscription.
No. Brick says it does not support iPads or computers for now. Norma has a free Mac app that blocks the sites and apps you chose on the same scan as your iPhone.
No. Norma works on iPhone, with a companion app on Mac. If you’re on Android, Brick supports both systems.
The principle is identical: an object you tap that cuts the apps you chose. The concrete differences are the Mac (Norma applies the block on the computer), automatic triggering by place or time, and the fact that Norma is iPhone-only where Brick also covers Android.
No. The disc is bought once and the app is included, with no subscription and no in-app purchase.
Screen Time is switched off in seconds in Settings. Norma builds on Screen Time but makes unlocking depend on an object: if the disc is in another room, the apps stay blocked.
Yes. You have 14 days to return your disc under the European right of withdrawal.
