The disc


What is the Unit Disc made of?

Stainless steel. No plastic, no coating.

Is it compatible with my iPhone?

The Unit Disc works with any iPhone XS or later running iOS 17 minimum.

Does it need a battery or charging?

No. It's a passive NFC tag — no power source, ever.

Will it work through a case?

Yes, in most cases. Thick or metal cases may reduce range. Keep the disc within a few centimeters of your phone's NFC reader (top-back of the device).

Can I reprogram the disc?

No. The disc is locked to the Norma app. This is intentional, it's what makes it reliable.

The app


Where do I download the app?

On the App Store, search "Norma". Or open this link from your iPhone.

How do I set up my disc?

Open the app, create your account, then tap "Add a disc" and hold your Unit Disc against the top-back of your iPhone. The app will guide you through the rest. Takes less than a minute.

Why does the app need an account?

Your account stores your disc configuration and keeps your setup secure across reinstalls or device changes.

The app isn't detecting my disc. What do I do?

Hold the disc flat against the top-back of your phone. If the issue persists, restart the app and try again or contact us with a video showing the issue.

Can I customize which apps get blocked?

Yes. You choose which apps the Focus mode restricts. The disc just triggers it.

Does the disc work without the app?

No. The app is required to configure and activate the NFC behavior.

Orders & shipping


When will my order ship?

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a tracking link by email once your parcel is on its way.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Shipping costs and delays vary by destination and are displayed at checkout.

I haven't received a confirmation email.

Check your spam folder. If nothing's there, contact us, we'll sort it out.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Contact us as soon as possible at support@nor.ma. We'll do our best, but we can't guarantee changes once the order is processed.

Can I return my disc?

If there's a defect or an error on our end, yes, get in touch. We'll find a solution.
